We've just returned from our second stay at Debbie's beautiful property, and it won't be our last stay. If the views alone don't wow you, the property and the abundance of furry visitors to the garden will. The photos don't do this property justice. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, there's plenty of space, well laid out and stocked kitchen, and two toilets is always a bonus! It's a perfect place for a total switch off holiday. Debbie was very quick to respond to my questions, and is always friendly in her response. She very much cares about the guest experience. I cannot recommend this property enough, book it, you won't regret it!

We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries I would definitely recommend this gem of a place. With hot tub, barbecue room, twinkly lights and a log burner to relax in front of you can't go wrong.

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

Loved our weekend here. The only thing that wasn't ideal was how easily sound travels in the cabin. We had a group of six friends staying and every time someone got up in the night it had a good chance of everyone waking up. We got a ton of use out of the hot tub, and there's a nice hiking trail right out the door. I'd say it would be a better fit for a couple on a weekend away than a big group like ours, but you can't fault the cabin for that. Lovely clean place, just like the photos, and very clean.

Beautiful cabin, amazing location, and relaxing spa. Loved arriving after a short drive following the challenging Lost Valley hike. Would stay again!

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

Penny's proved to be an excellent host from the moment we booked until the day we left the property. If a fancy-pants cottage you're after, this is not the place for you although it has everything you need, all the utilities and a good view from the garden. It has a very good and practical feel about it. Our dog felt at home as well, considering that it takes a while for him to settle in a new place. It's also close to Lamlash for shopping and restaurants. All in all it was a very good experience and we'll go back again for sure.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

Our fifth visit to Hamilsmay. The children are now 15 and 12 and still beg to come back. It’s a super relaxing week that we all look forward to - we read, did jigsaws, played cards, walked miles, and spent a great deal of time starring out the window at the red squirrels, seals, birds right there. It’s just the perfect spot - so special to all of us. Eileen hosted us this time. We all love her - she knows everything about the area and we felt looked after. We’ll be back! Thank you!

We only got to stay for the weekend for a family wedding, but were blown away by the location and how stunning the house was. Super clean arrival instructions made for a seamless experience. Huge thanks. Can’t wait to be back!

We had such a fantastic experience at Ruth's place - the house was so user friendly with bedrooms accessible but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the living areas. Lovely hot water for showers and everything was very easy to use. Ruth was a fantastic host who made it very easy to get into her house and let ourselves get settled as soon as we arrived on the Island. We love the location as it's a short distance from Blackwaterfoot with its shops, bakery and hotel and beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay Ruth!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gestaltet und man kann hervorragend ausspannen. Es hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung und ist für kleiner Freundesgruppen oder Familie optimal geeignet. Die Unterkunft ist ideale auf Islay. Wir würde das Airbnb immer wieder buchen.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

Prettig verblijf in een fijn huis. Voorzieningen van Cameron House zijn ook zeer prettig.

This was our first visit to Cameron House and we were not disappointed, the lodge was perfect for us and the resort had plenty of activities on offer (if you wanted to do them). We visited in August and there were various activities available for different age ranges. We had teenagers so they were interested in clay shooting, bubble football, private cinema, golf and although there was a cost for these it was not unreasonable. Plus there was the indoor pool, gym and range of fitness classes. Plus of course there is the great outdoors with fantastic scenery and Loch Lomond itself. The host was really helpful and answered all my questions really well. I would have no hesitation going back.

Absolutely brilliant location with spectacular views, the cottage was very private and peaceful, host was very informative and very helpful! Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We highly recommend James' place, it'll will be our first choice when we return. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. The view has to be one of the best in the area, I sat looking out at it, watching all the changes as the day moved on. We were lucky to watch a couple of dolphins playing in the wake of a fishing boat too. Thankyou James.
