Fantastic stay. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub was great and the garden was peaceful. Everything was spot on and communication was great! Will be back!

This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

Beautiful home within a tranquil setting. Easy to find and a very welcoming host. Private, peaceful outdoor space with large seating area and a huge gas barbecue. Lots of comfortable space inside to relax and eat together. Bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely countryside walks on the doorstop and a short drive to cliff top walks and beautiful beaches. We loved spending our family Easter weekend at this stunning property and would highly recommend it.

A lovely cottage away from the town, set amongst wonderful wildlife and dark night skies. The cottage was very comfortable and welcoming with a stocked wood pile, good heating and hot water, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you expect. It was all you imagine about an old country cottage which retained some old features from the past but has been updated to ensure that you wanted for nothing. It is definitely a place I will return to again.

Lovely cute cottage style house with absolutely everything you could need. We stayed with 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog and it still felt very spacious but also cosy and warm. A few mins walk to shops and restaurants etc but felt more remote and was very peaceful. A good playpark for kids and big grassy fields attached for the dog to play max 5 mins walk away was handy too. A few mins walk from the start of a lot of the trails at the river. Great place!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem Haus :) die Ausstattung war super, es war makellos sauber und die Lage war sehr ruhig. Der Ausblick war wunderbar. Bei der Anfahrt sollte man auf die guten Anweisungen der Gastgeber hören, da das Navi uns falsch geführt hätte ;)

What a beautiful spot! I was content never to move from the garden, although my co -travellers would probably have had something to say about it. Samantha was fantastically accommodating to our requests re when we could check in and out and length of stay. The house is perfect for a couple of families - so much space and set out in a way that you can get away from everyone, should you need to. Everything was there that you needed, beds were comfy, everything was easy to use and the living spaces were all very relaxing. Wildlife galore to be seen with your morning coffee. There are lovely walks to be had from your doorstep, and The Bridge of Cally Pub and shop are a short walk along the road. Balnabea is perfectly situated for exploring Perthshire - ours was a short break away, but as usual Scotland delivers in making you feel you've been away for double the length of time. We recommend The Hermitage and Dunkeld. We loved it so much we wanted to make it our annual retreat.

Comfortable and homely. A great view across Angus countryside and hills from the upstairs lounge. A superb base for reaching Angus, Dundee, Perth and beyond.

Great place to stay, lovely apartment, comfortable and warm. Great location close to beach, restaurants and shops. Enjoyed our Xmas holiday and would love to return Thank you very much.

Birds 'n' Bees is a beautiful flat in a beautiful location. The peace and quiet is wonderful and being able to hear the birds gives you a real sense of calm. Everything in the flat is really good quality and there is every utensil or item of furniture you could possibly need. The bed is really comfortable and there is plenty of hanging space in the wardrobes - along with plenty of hangers! I would suggests a bit more information in the house manual, particularly about recycling. Each area recycles different things, in different bins, so some info about that would be really helpful. The oven and hob are both really up to date - which meant we had to do some working out on how to use them. Instructions would be helpful, although we found the dishwasher instructions. Anne was really friendly and helpful on check in, Graham offered to help us carry everything up. Lovely couple. We had a fantastic 10 days and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay in Charlotte's property. PERFECT for 2 people. We received clear instructions re how to get there, with excellent follow-up contact information from Charlotte in case we had any problems or queries - something we didn't need to do, but really appreciated Charlotte's concern. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The quality of the furnishings was 1st-class. The welcome pack of 'goodies' was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The Angus area is one of Scotland's best-kept secrets and Charlotte's house is definitely one of the 'accommodation jewels' in Montrose's crown. Angus has it all - beaches, glens, historic sites and 1st-class local produce. What's not to like? A return visit is certainly on the cards.

Had a warm welcome from Zoe. The loft wad clean and very dog friendly. Nice secure courtyard we took our puppies with us. The stairs to the loft are a wee steep. we only stayed overnight. will return if passing that way again.

Very well equipped to a high standard. Very clean and comfortable for two, for short or longerstays. No hesitation about booking and using again during iur next visit to the area.

Another great stay at the Bothy. Henry and John are very friendly and can't be more helpful. The wildlife you see here is brilliant and really makes the stay. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend The Bothy.

We loved the location of the flat and the ability to sit outside. It was very comfortable and everything was provided to make our stay comfortable....and a few little extras. Ground floor and east access is important and met our needs. Gemma's communications were very friendly and helpful.We would recommend this wee place for a wee stay.

Another perfect stay at Harbour Haven. The large dining kitchen gives us somewhere to sit in the morning if the sofa bed in the living room is still occupied. The master bedroom is incredibly spacious with a generous four-poster. The flat has recently been renovated, though it was already in great condition. As always, the standout is the location. It’s perfectly situated between the high street and the promenade and the living room boasts the most glorious view of the harbour and the sea beyond. This is our third stay at Harbour Haven and we couldn’t recommend it strongly enough. The hosts are always so responsive, approachable and friendly.

We really enjoyed our time here. The flat is exactly as described and very handy for exploring The Ferry and local areas. The only thing to note: you’re close to the train tracks! But once you know that it gets easy to tune it out. Plus there’s so much to do around The Ferry we found we weren’t in the flat much, except to sleep! But otherwise a brilliant place and we’d definitely book this again.

We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay. It felt very homely in a quiet cul-de-sac. Close to all amenities and the beach and costal walk. Bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft towels. Sarah was a great host, very helpful and responsive to messages.

Lisa was responsive. friendly and her instructions were clear. The property was lovely and as described. Thank you for accommodating our crew they had a lovely stay.

Ann was the perfect host, really communicative and friendly in all her messages. The accommodation was superb, fantastic open plan living space which was great for family all being together for New Year. Facilities and amenities in the flat were first rate, we’ve stayed in a few Air BnB properties in Broughty Ferry and Ann’s has been one of the top ones! Looking forward to future stays here. Thanks for making our stay to visit family in The Ferry so easy!

Alexander and Gail communicated well from the point of booking. Check in was straightforward, with Alexander messaging with instructions prior to us arriving. We were greeted on arrival which was appreciated. They were the perfect hosts in that they were unintrusive but were on hand if we had any issues. This is a beautiful property in a tranquil location, but within easy walking distance of the town centre. It had everything we needed and more. The tea, coffee, fresh milk and shortbread was welcome on arrival. We had absolutely no issues or reason to complain. We hope to be back. Highly recommended
