O tema principal é a fotografia – fotografias a preto e branco de Ana Esquível dos anos 80 – de gentes e locais dos Açores. Rasgados vãos permitem uma interessante comunicação entre o exterior e o interior da casa, bastante luz natural de dia e uma iluminação intimista à noite, na qual pátio e sala se integram. Ninho dos Avós, como o nome indica, era a casa onde os nossos avós viviam, aqui temos muitas boas memórias e onde éramos felizes com eles e não sabíamos.
