Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Brian’s virtual hospitality was warm and welcoming. I didn’t figure out that the garage is for snowmobiles (assumption) until the last day. We felt at home at once. Our small dog wanted to chase every squirrel and the cows that lead the pig down the street. We were there with another couple for a virtual conference with several sessions over Saturday and Sunday. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen small but well equipped meeting all our needs, and TV room perfect for the conference. Walking the dog in the back up the hill was beautiful even in the rain. We talked about booking for the October conference already. Thanks, Brian.

From our very first communications, it was evident that Josh has a genuine affection for this home, treating it with great care. He was consistently approachable, addressing all of our questions from the initial inquiry until our departure. The cabin was wonderfully maintained and provided a comfortable stay for our family. The heating was effective during the winter months, ensuring a cozy atmosphere throughout our visit. Although it is situated in a more remote area, it was conveniently close to the amenities we desired. The serene environment was a perfect backdrop, complete with a lovely view of the lake. Our time spent in the cabin was truly enjoyable. We appreciated the abundance of board games, access to streaming services, and the fantastic arcade setup in the basement, featuring air hockey, basketball, ping-pong, and more. This spot is truly remarkable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it! I am grateful to Josh for providing us with such a delightful experience!

Our stay at Margaret's home was very relaxing and comfortable. Pristine bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The lake view was so much more than we anticipated. It was serene, peaceful, and breathtaking. Great retreat to feel relaxed and inspired. The location suits our needs for comfort and accessibility to surrounding disc golf courses and is great for travelers looking to escape screens, and the stress of cluttered and busy lifestyles. It feels like home as soon as you arrive .

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall ambiance of the apartment. This is an old building with uneven floors but I loved the feel of the place. Having an updated bathroom was great, especially the heated tile floors! The views of the river were great. I felt right at home.

The Hasty House is a cute little studio with a nice, functional kitchen. It would work well for 1-2 people, possibly even a small family for those who need very little space. The interior has a step or two between each space, which could be tricky for nighttime bathroom runs, but there is a well-paced nightlight. The neighborhood is walkable, and the location was perfectly placed for my needs. Sharon is a fantastic host! She was kind, communicative, and helpful; attentive when needed but not overly so. I will absolutely stay here again!

I got to Maine a lot and always get a hotel, usually the Residence Inn on Turner Street in Auburn. This place was nicer, bigger, and cheaper. Will stay again for sure.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for—cozy, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. It had such a warm, cabin-like vibe that made us feel right at home. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up. The location was also ideal—close to everything we needed, from restaurants to shops and local attractions, but still felt peaceful and private. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.
