We had a fantastic stay at this fully refurbished cosy cottage in Ffestiniog! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The kitchen was a real highlight—modern, well-equipped, and ideal for cooking after a day of exploring Snowdonia, which is just a short drive away. Parking was a breeze with a private spot round the back of the property—really easy to access and super handy for getting luggage in and out. The beds were comfy, and the whole house had a warm, homely feel. We also really appreciated the smooth self check-in with the lockbox, and Kevin was a great host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this place as a peaceful and convenient base for exploring the area. We’d definitely stay again!

I would strongly recommend this home stay. It had everything we were looking for in a day trip with our family and kids. There was self-check-in and check-out, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could imagine in a country house. We felt like we experienced the English countryside during our stay. The pictures don’t do justice. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the home itself was top-notch, especially the decor. Barry did an amazing job with the interiors. Barry was great at communication, and the detailed descriptions were really helpful! We would like to thank Barry for keeping the house the way it should.

Der Aufenthalt bei Rhian war einfach nur wundervoll in allen Bereichen! Es war herrlich ruhig zum Entspannen! Es war ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem wir uns sofort Wohlgefühls haben und wir auch bei Regen herrlich relaxen konnten. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und fehlte etwas, war Rhian sofort zur Stelle. Wir konnten uns immer an sie wenden, auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung! Sie hat das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, das spürt man an jeder Ecke und hat auch zu unseren Kindern sofort einen Draht aufgebaut. Für unsere 7 köpfige Familie war es ein absolut entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Man muss sich allerdings in absoluter Natur und City Ferne wohl fühlen! Für uns war es perfekt!!! Danke Rhian!!!

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

Beyond impressed from start to finish. We were greeted by Tony who showed us round the property, he also took time to help us to set up the fire inside which was incredibly kind! Both Tony and Ed gave us some incredible recommendations which we were really pleased we did! The cabin was spotless and the bed was the comfiest we’d ever slept in! In a great location with easy access to a variety of areas, Snowdon, Abersoch etc. The cats were all beautiful! We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Wow... What a beautiful and peaceful tucked away place to stay. Outstanding country with hundreds of walks of all varieties, hills, forests, woodlands, green pastures and picturesque villages to immerse oneself. It's only a 45 minute walk over a hill through woodland and pastures, before the pretty town of Clun is in view from on high. We barely used the car once we arrived. The farm has a beautiful and lush terraced garden with many peaceful and private spots to sit, relax and view their valley. Barn conversion has been carefully thought out with a real home from home feel and possibly the best equipped holiday home I've had the pleasure to stay. Leena & Geoff are the icing on the cake. They are kind, warm, welcoming, accommodating hosts. We'll definitely be staying again!

Where do I start? This was hands down the best Airbnb I have stayed in. The location really is special, the views are to die for and it’s so peaceful. We spent a lovely couple of days exploring mid Wales and during the evenings relaxing in the hot tub. It was pure bliss and perfect for what we wanted. Bryn was helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone looking at Upper Gelli Lodge to book, you won’t regret it.
