This place is perfect. We had a 2 night getaway, it was clean and comfortable, we took the kayaks out to the mangrove islands, groceries and good restaurants are close by. Jose was very responsive and helpful when needed. We will for sure come here again. Highly recommend!

A very clean space with plenty of to spread out. As convenient as you can get for fishing.

Our three night stay at Kim’s place was excellent. The houseboat is well designed and immaculate. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Kim was always responsive to any questions. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the turtles and birds. There are many restaurants in Sanford or just stay at the harbor and eat at the deli or the bar. We would love to stay again.

What an idyllic experience. Truly the best experience surrounded by nature- water, tree line, loons, etc. Nothing quite like waking up to 2 loons outside your float, the sun beaming in and the calm sounds of water, or going to sleep with a sky full of stars and the milky way beaming down on you. The boat was so quaint, so functional and everything you need for a relaxing stay, including two very powerful gas stoves good for cooking most meals, and a nice warm shower while you look out into the pond. It was a very easy paddle to shore if you wanted to go out for food, or for daytime adventures. Also a very gentle paddle around the pond for exploration. Rheanna was fantastic- responsive, welcoming and easy to get along with. She was very accommodating and we are very grateful we got to stay on her boathouse. It was a very easy and comfortable stay, so for those feeling apprehensive about the challenges of life on a boat, I wouldn't worry. The highest of recommendations! We'll be back!

We loved this place. Wish we had booked a couple more days to explore the island. There is free parking but you kind of have to pay in the adjoining lot, go down the dock and get yourself in and read the welcome book where the free parking is described with a map and where the parking pass is. This is not clear in the arrival instructions but it’s only 2 bucks and once you see it all it makes sense. We unloaded our car from the paid lot as it was much closer then went and parked free from then on. None of the above should discourage anyone from staying here though because it’s a terrific place! Nice welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Lobster and ice cream just a short walk away and tons of shops not much further. Loved it!

What a unique and lovely place. My first time on a house boat & loved it! Everyone at the marina was so nice, great parking close to the place. Don’t worry about the small space, it’s larger than a standard hotel room and it has a full size fridge, washer dryer, and modern appliances. I can’t wait to book this again!

The house boat was truly a unique and enjoyable experience. The “locals” living at the marina were very chatty and friendly. All around it was a wonderful atmosphere and an exciting memory!

Loved having a different/unique place to stay while in Door county. The houseboat is literally next to the steel bridge but noise was not a problem. What I had not counted on was the very gentle swaying of the boat though this did not affect our stay at all. The beds were very comfortable, the houseboat was clean. The directions to get there were detailed and clear. Loved sitting up on the deck watching the world go by! We did have one issue while we were there, Mary was incredible responsive and the issue was solved promptly! Loved the guy who came to resolve the issue, he was full of local history and information! Great experience!

My husband and I had such a relaxing time staying here! We felt like we were having a mini adventure, but still had all the essentials we needed. We saw manatees, dolphins, and tarpon. And we fished off the back dock at night. It was so beautiful how clear the skies were from the view of this house boat, we saw so many stars. We’ll be back again and I’m already sending the link to friends who were asking about our stay!

The house boat is really incredible. Everything you will need for your stay, you will find there. From kitchen appliances, to comfy blankets, great TVs in all rooms, great WiFi, towels etc etc. Incredibly clean, stunning views, great jacuzzi, dog friendly with a little fort to rest, doggie wipes, bowls, toy. My Dexter had the best time.. Very easy instructions to get there. Everything is well labeled so finding things was a breeze. We were able to see dolphins every day, loved using the kayaks and simply relax on the upper deck or the back of the boat watching the incredible sunsets. Natalie was incredible and communication was 10/10. We will be back!

This was our second stay here, and once again, it was perfect. Kirby is fantastic to work with—super responsive and accommodating. The place is incredibly relaxing, quiet, and exactly what we needed for a quick parents’ getaway. We can’t wait to come back again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend! It's less than 10 minutes from Red Wing where you can enjoy cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. As for the houseboat, the space is well used and surprisingly spacious. Getting to have the little deck both on main level and top during the beautiful slow mornings was my favorite part! We went on a rather hot weekend and stayed very comfortable with the air conditioning. The Amtrak train does run few times a day, which in early morning did wake us up. Definitively a great experience and highly recommend it for a fun weekend away!

This place is amazing! Fantastic view and super clean inside and out! Owner is very proactive, simple, and responsive. We will be back every year at least. This is top 5 if not the best place to stay in Venice. Thank you again!

Great communication and the best view in all of down down Wilmington. I will not waste time searching any further in the future and book my trips based on availability to this place.

The construction across the water was a little distracting, but dock was quiet at night. We were first users this season so a few observations: would be nice to have darker curtains in bedroom due to lights on the dock at night. Parking was easy. None of the other boat owners bothered us. The host was responsive to all our questions. It is a small space, so good for what we wanted but would want more space for a longer stay. Would do a short stay again.

Had a great stay! Clear communication regarding parking - it’s about a 2 block walk but not difficult at all and plenty of available spaces. The cove is close to a handful of great restaurants and an easy 15-20 min walk to the historic core of downtown.

This is the second time we stayed here and loved it as much as the first. Sad to hear this gem is being sold. We love it and the prime location—so much so, we asked Ray for info. This place was my favorite AirBnB to date! So amazing! So relaxing! Thanks again!

Loved our stay here!! Rebecca was an amazing hostess — easy to connect with, responsive, friendly, kind — and we loved everything about our houseboat. It was clearly decorated by ladies with good taste, it was clean, comfortable, and between the candles, the white noise machines, and the diffusers in the bedroom to the coffee station and the well-equipped kitchen, they thought of everything! The whole houseboat experience was just epic, too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, no questions asked. My only regret is not staying longer!

Absolutely loved this little place! Very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable bed, nice shower and easy access to beach and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.
