The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Our Thanksgiving gathering at Salina’s was wonderful. Two kitchens was the perfect feature for all the cooking necessary to feed seven. Our dogs loved running in the yard. The main event however is the awesome hot tub with strong jets. Soothing relaxation in the snow! Lake Michigan stole the show with a spectacular sunset over stormy waves.

Great get away from all hustle of life. But also only 30 min drive to Lake Michigan. Kitchen was well stocked with many dishes and even many spices. The backyard is so peaceful with multiple bird feeders to watch. Lake traffic was busy on weekend many boats going by our raft but quiet during the week. The lake has a-lot of growing plants so not so good for swimming but kayaking was great. The house did not have ac or wifi but plenty of fans and cooled off at night. Verizon was also not available but at&t was for phone service. A great way to disconnect from the internet❤️ Patti was very prompt with answers and knowledgeable about the area. We had 4 staying there and had plenty of room. The pull out couch mattress was even comfortable.

Greg and Kim are wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful and authentic - beautifully landscaped, magical. It's perfect - we'll return every chance we get.

We had such an amazing time. Beautiful location, peaceful and perfect for gateway. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended and so worth it!

Doug was a fantastic host and the ice house was a fabulous place to stay. Very nice lake and having boats accessible was the cherry on top - fishing on the lake was great fun and having south haven close by is a plus. We stopped at the local farm stands and had delicious local produce. We will return to this great getaway

Great house on an adorable lake! We had warm weather and sat on the deck the entire stay. Close to so many cute towns and of course the wedding venue! We were very comfortable and loved the extra touches like kayaks, fishing poles, seasonings, Pam, sun screen and games. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was warm and welcoming! Everything was clean and organized. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was a great place to stay!

This was our second stay with them and already booked for next year. They are two wonderful people! Love having breakfast with them and chatting. We had privacy when we wanted in the basement walkout apartment. It was new and quiet. Loved sitting g and watching the river. They offered great suggestions on dining and things to do. Extraordinary all around!

Great place. Loved how they thought of a lot of things. they had stuff for baby specific items, they had all th seasonings already in the kitchen. I know that's one pain part of renting Airbnb, but they had a whole drawer with just that. Beautiful view of the lake! Private beach, although there's a climb! Well worth the climb. We'll be back!

Great spot right on the lake with private steps down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets, cute town of Fennville nearby. Furniture could use some updating but overall nice place.

Always a great stay at Macatawa. We keep coming back and really enjoy it. Steve is super responsive and friendly. The house is just beautiful with every possible thing you would need. He handles unexpected issues quickly and professionally. We love staying here!

The house was right on the lake shore with private woods to the South. Unfortunately, as described, there is not direct access to the beach/water below due to shoreline erosion. However, the view was incredible, the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with necessities, and the location was well located between South Haven and Saugatuck.

Our stay was wonderful! It was so serene at the lake house. We loved watching the swans and ducks on the lake. It was perfect for a swim, fishing, or having hot coffee on a cool morning on the deck. All of the kids gear is what cinched the deal for us. Having baby gates set up and lots of toys made vacationing with two little ones so much easier! I definitely recommend this Airbnb and we hope to return some day in the future!

This property is absolutely lovely. Left wishing that we had booked a week-long stay rather than just a long weekend. The whole property is beautiful, tranquil, and inviting. There were a few kitchen items that we couldn’t find (but had banked on having access to), and when I reached out Stephanie was incredibly responsive and proactive and helped us find a solution. We will be back!
