Alentejo : locations de vacances dans des cabanes

We stayed for eight weeks over winter. The photos had accurately depicted the bungalow but hadn't expressed it's homely feel once inside. This was a home not a ' holiday let'. The owner had even put up a Christmas tree because we arrived on Dec 22nd. It was comfortable and well insulated for winter evenings. For warmer nights though the garden will be beautiful. There is plenty of outside seating and lovely garden lightening. The kitchen was well equipped and it would be possible to cook any style of cooking. There was always hot water from roof panels and the shower was modern and efficient. Perhaps, as with any home appliances, one or two may need replacing later this year but everything required was there. This property is in the countryside. The neighbouring properties have guard dogs which unfortunately do bark at the wild animals. We live in the countryside but this noise took us a while to get used to. A car is essential but the property is surrounded by beautiful country walks.

Toda a estadia foi incrivelmente sensacional!! Somente elogios e gratidão. Infelizmente chegamos um bocadinho mais tarde do que o esperado, por conta de atraso na viagem, mas mesmo assim conseguimos aproveitar e MUITO a noite, e a manhã principalmente.. adoramos a jacuzzi, e ter a natureza ao redor nesse momento, foi sensacional mesmo! Voltaremos outras vezes, com toda certeza. É uma bela escapadinha romântica, para sair da rotina, e também uma bela programação para fazer com amigos e família. Vale muito a pena, foi sensacional! 🥰

Doras Unterkunft entspricht der Beschreibung, ist absolut sauber und frisch. Es ist alles da was man benötigt, es riecht überall sehr gut! Der Pool ist natürlich das Highlight hier, und ist super angenehm und leicht einzustellen . Die Lage ist ruhig, das absolute Paradies :) Die Matratzen sind der Himmel, wir haben super gut geschlafen! Dora ist sehr freundlich und gut zu erreichen. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft definitiv weiter und komme gerne wieder ♥️

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Francisco est très disponible. La tiny house étant un peu isolée, c’est agréable de trouver tout ce qu’il faut pour une collation à notre arrivée. La maison est bien équipée. Le jacuzzi est parfait. Nous reviendrons

No pudimos acceder a la casa por el apagón pero Dora nos tuvo en todo momento informadas. Airbnb nos dijo otros alojamientos pero ya se fue la linea telefónica y tuvimos que buscar de forma tradicional. Tanto la anfitriona como Airbnb se portaron muy bien y nos atendieron amablemente. Airbnb nos devolvió el dinero y una compensación, ningún problema.

Fabulous alternative accommodation and very responsive friendly host

Pasamos un fin de semana increíble! La cabaña de Celia es muy acogedora. Es muy luminosa (con grandes ventanales), la cama es cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una linda estancia. Estaba muy limpia y decorada con mucho gusto. Además, Celia es encantadora, siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades y nos recomendó lugares interesantes. Nos recibió con pan casero (exquisito), unos dulces típicos del lugar y agua, gesto muy apreciado ya que llegamos de noche. La recomiendo 100% y seguro volveremos nosotros :)

An absolute treasure of a place. The chalet is amazing in a gorgeous setting and has absolutely everything that you need. It is exactly as described- even more beautiful when you see it with your own eyes. The outdoor area was perfect for our children to roam about! Jose and Ana are the kindest and most attentive hosts. On the first day we had an issue with the cold and Jose and Ana came all the way out to us with new heaters (and it was Jose’s BIRTHDAY). They are such lovely people. I can only wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the chalet!

Muy buena experiencia con la pareja Hans y Sunamita. Fuimos mis amigas, mi pequeño perrito y yo y nos recibieron muy muy bien. Muy atentos a todo y sobre todo muy atentos a los mensajes, nos respondían al instante. Nos han facilitado toda la información que hemos necesitado así como también más sabanas y también un secador para el pelo. En cuanto a la cabaña es muy limpia y sobre todo muy tranquila en medio de la naturaleza. Si necesitáis ir a un sitio tranquilo para relajaros, no lo dudéis :) Por otro lado, también hemos tenido acceso a la piscina que está a 50metros de la cabaña. En resumen, repetiría sin falta. Muchas gracias a los dos por vuestra amabilidad y vuestra sonrisa constante y hasta pronto!

Parfait, la réactivité de Vitor pour nous proposer un logement suite à un problème d’eau chaude, a principalement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour.

Wat een zalige plek. Weg van de drukte en dicht bij een prachtige kust. En als je wat meer mensen wilt ontmoeten is Lissabon, Ericeira of Mafra niet veraf. We voelden ons zeer welkom bij Filipe. Een aanrader.

We had a great time at Celsio’s. This place is very special: a beautiful location on the beach, clean and superbly equipped. We felt right at home! We'll definitely be back!

Espaço lindo para uma escapadinha na natureza, o anfitrião muito prestável (fala em inglês), instalações limpas e cómodas, a cozinha dispõe de alguns utensílios básicos. O quarto, um pouco quente, mas não incomodativo, dispõe de um frigobar. O mais difícil foi mesmo o acesso, mas em contacto com o o senhor Harold, foi mais fácil de chegar. Uma experiência a repetir para a próxima mais tempo, visto que fomos apenas uma noite…

Sorte Verde is a beautiful oasis amidst the stunning Evora region. The swimming pool and proximity to the river add to this wonderful experience!

We stayed for two nights and will definitely come back and stay for longer. The soulfarm is an amazing eco community concept within beautiful nature, very calm, good breakfast and surrounded by lovely people. There are yoga and massage offers available to book and you can explore the area and nearby beaches for walks/surf/swim. The treehouse is exceptional, very comfy bed, lovely sunrise views and all is perfect to immerse in nature with all the comfort one needs 😊 The owners and crew were very helpful also in advance and helped us out when we had some troubles with our car. Good restaurant recommendations for the area as well. Looking forward to come back eventually.

Adorámos a estadia, a casa era muito amorosa e tinha o necessário, a nossa cadelinha adorou todo o espaço exterior onde pôde andar livremente e foi sempre muito bem tratada. Gostamos muito de tudo, o senhor Carlos foi sempre muito simpático e prestável.

Il s’agit d’un endroit parfait pour se déconnecter ! Vous serez en plein milieu de la nature, dans une cabine tout confort et ultra design ! On ne peut que recommander !

We had a wonderful stay at Monte Velho. From the beginning Kate was very easy to communicate with, she answered all of our questions and left really great suggestions re exploring the local area. We had some very delicious and affordable meals in Faro city which is only about a 25 minute drive from the property. The house itself is beautiful and located in your own little corner of paradise. We spent most days lounging by the pool and got good use out of the BBQ too. Everything was very straightforward with a range of supermarkets nearby but you will definitely need a car if visiting! We would 100%. return. Thanks Kate :)

Wir waren eine Woche Anfang September da. Eine sehr schöne und einfache Unterkunft auf einem sehr schönen Grundstück mit eigenem See zum Schwimmen (+SUP). Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die mit allem nötigen ausgestattete Außenküche, der Aussen-Sanitärbereich (inkl. Dusche) und die vielfältigen Sitz-und Liegemöglichkeiten. Auch toll waren die beiden Hunde und Katzen. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig, auch wenn während unseres Aufenthaltes in dem Tal etwas lautere Erdarbeiten durchgeführt wurden, manchmal hat man auch die Rennstrecke in der Nähe gehört. Trotzdem spitze und sehr schöner Sternenhimmel! Spaziergänge/Wanderungen von der Unterkunft aus lohnen sich. Auto ist dennoch zu empfehlen, hingekommen sind wir aber auch ohne (Zug nach mexhiloeira Grande, dann Taxi), es gibt auch einen Bus nach Portimão (oder mit Umstieg nach Lagos) Herzliche Begrüßung durch Christoph, der uns spannende Sachen über die Gegend erzählen konnte, aber auch total in Ruhe gelassen hat.

Die Unterkunft war ein super Rückzugsort und bot uns dank der tollen Lage viele Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten im Freien oder Touren durch Lissabon. Spaziergänge an den Klippen oder am Strand und Essen in der Region Almada kann ich allen Anreisenden empfehlen. Man fühlte sich bei Cynthia direkt wie zu Hause, da die Unterkunft gemütlich eingerichtet ist und Privatsphäre bietet. Das Badezimmer ist offen im Haus integriert, das sollte man berücksichtigen. Cynthia war eine herzliche Gastgeberin mit Tipps für die Umgebung und stets bei Fragen erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, auch im Winter.
