Welcome to The Casita, our Mediterranean inspired beach bungalow in the Outer Banks. The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. We designed and renovated this beach cottage to exude inspiration from those experiences and create an escape for ourselves and to share with others. We look forward to hosting you!

The Cottage at Muddy Creek

This gorgeous and quaint cottage sits on Muddy Creek where Perquimans River and the Albemarle Sound meet. It offers unparalleled views of magnificent dusk and dawn skies over water as you are surrounded by a variety of wildlife. Inside, the cottage has an open concept with one large room and a separate full bathroom. Walls of windows offer panoramic water views that embrace you the moment you walk through the front door. An ideal getaway retreat for couples, or a family with small children.

Island Lotus Yoga & Spa

A nature lover’s dream! Waterfront, ample natural light, serene beauty, and privacy can be all yours at our charming ranch right on the bay. The bay faces east, giving you the most breathtaking views of the sunrise and moonrise. Relax in the spa, adventure on kayaks, and chill and grill over the fire-pit. Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. Smart TV, hi speed wireless internet along with a fun size pool table, foosball, dartboard and ping pong downstairs.

Betty’s Bungalow

Betty’s Bungalow Is located 4 miles south of Columbia on Levels Road. You can enjoy walking around the farm, the quiet Levels community, or along the boardwalk in the picturesque town of Columbia. There is ample parking for boats and horse trailers. Pasture board is available for the equestrian enthusiasts for a nominal fee. When out and about, be sure to visit the Columbia Museum and the visitor center and learn about the history of Columbia.

The Duck Inn at Lunker Lodge

The Duck Inn is a 320 sq ft efficiency apartment adjacent to the Lunker Lodge. It has a private entrance, full bathroom, ample closet space and is furnished with a queen sized bed (new Nectar mattress), and a loveseat with full sized pullout. Kitchen area is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate and Keurig coffee maker and basic kitchenware.
