Albanie : locations de vacances dans des gîtes à la ferme

Hôtes très accueillants. Leur fils Kladji, non présent, parle français et nous a parfaitement renseigné pour préparer notre arrivée. Violetta nous a offert le café chaque matin et Miro du raki. Logement avec 2 lits dans le salon et 2 dans la chambre (seule climatisée mais cela suffisait pour diffuser l'air frais), salle de bains et cuisine équipée. Moustiquaires et volets. Maison bien fleurie avec une belle pelouse au milieu des oliviers centenaires de Borsh, à 700 m de la plage (15 min à pied) comme du village (et 1h de la citadelle). Très calme, juste le son des cloches des troupeaux dans le maquis ! Avec un gentil chien Nino (qui m'a suivi dans le maquis quand j'allais au village : un voisin a appelé Violetta pour que son mari vienne le chercher !) et 1 chat. Nous avons dîné la veille dans le magnifique restaurant de Borsh sur des cascades aménagées. Idéalement situé près des plus belles plages et villages de la Riviera (Qeparo, Pilur, Himarë...).

Where to start. It was just mavellous! Only the trip from Librazhd to Orenje was great. Bolle the best host ever, only talking was difficult. Great local food and the surrounding just formidable! Thanks!!!

Don't think about it. Just book this place now! This was exactly the kind of place I was looking for. I was staying in Sarande at a hotel prior to booking this place. The hotel was great but I wanted something closer to the REAL Albania. I found it here. I was actually surprised that I found this place on Airbnb. It was old school Airbnb...where someone opens up their home to you and you are able to experience the hospitality of the host or hostess. It's not your typical Airbnb place either. This is a typical family farm that is found in so many places in eastern Europe. It is not the kind of farm you would find in Canada or the US that are hundred of acres in size. The home is situated on about 0.5 acres or 0.2 hectares of land surrounded by the typical rock walls you find surrounding many homes in Albania. What kind of animals do you find here? Chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits and even ducks. Yes, there is a garden for vegetables and grape vines throughout the property. Please don't think this a petting zoo farm... this is a working family farm that provides food for the family and you if you stay here. It is a modest home that has been in the family for many years, it is on a plot of land that has provided the food and shelter for the family for countless generations. I have nothing but enormous respect for the hostess and her family. It was the kind of home that my parents grew up in Ukraine. This is what attracted me to this place. These people are salt of the earth. Humble, happy and proud. Respect. I could write a short book about my stay here. To sum up, it was wonderful. I have stayed at my fair share of Airbnb places, but this is my most favorite place ever. I did not want to leave and I do plan to return and stay much longer than the ~10 days I was there. What are the highlights of my visit? 1. The hostess Alexandra and her dear mother. Real people. 2. Coffee with fresh goat milk every morning. Yes, it's that good. 3. The sunrise in the valley. Breathtaking. 4. The amazing hikes up the mountain and in through the valley. There are so many ruins and hidden cool places to discover. 5. Taking the goats and sheep grazing in the morning. Yes I did that!!! 6. I'm not going to give it all away...book this place and I'll let you discover all the wonderful things here on your own. Alexandra and her mother don't speak English. This was not a problem at all. I downloaded the microsoft translator to my phone. It allows two people to communicate back and forth at the push of a button. It made communicating with the hostess very easy. I had many wonderful conversations with Alexandra and her dear mother many times using this translator. So you will be just fine. Look... this is a farm. It smells like a farm where the animals live and it has bugs...get over it. If you are looking for Disney World or the Ritz Carlton...look somewhere else. This place is perfect the way it is and I will be returning in the near future. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The internet works great. My cell phone worked just fine. It has a great stove for cooking and a washing machine to wash your clothes. It has a TV, but why would you watch TV when you are in such a wonderful environment to explore? There are places to buy groceries to cook food...OR...you can arrange with Alexandra to prepare meals for you each day. That is what I did. Breakfast and dinner. So I didn't have to cook or buy anything extra to survive. It's up to you. I chose to eat home cooked food from the farm...how can you beat that??? There is so much more to say...but... Don't think about it. Just book this place now!

Una struttura incantevole, accogliente e ben curata, con una colazione deliziosa e la comodità del parcheggio interno. L’unico piccolo inconveniente, per chi ha il sonno particolarmente leggero, potrebbe essere il rumore dei cani che abbaiano e degli aerei che passano sopra la casa durante la notte. Per il resto, è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole: siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, soprattutto nostro figlio, che si è divertito tantissimo a giocare con gli animali della fattoria. Un soggiorno ideale per le famiglie con bambini!

We had a great stay at Cornelia and Andrea! We arrived on our bycicles in the cold rain and they welcomed us with some hot tea. The house is very beautiful, the hosts incredibly nice and the view is amazing. We had a very good Albanian breakfast. Could have stayed here a lot longer. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Einfach nur wow! Die Unterkunft bei Mira und Zydi war absolut fantastisch,schöner kann man sich einen Aufenthalt nicht vorstellen. Das Haus war makellos sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (und mehr!). Aber das Allerbeste waren die Gastgeber selbst: Mira und Zydi sind unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich bei ihnen sofort willkommen und rundum wohl. Ich kann diese Unterkunft jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Wenn ihr nach einer traditionell albanischen Unterkunft in einer nicht touristischen Gegend voller Kultur und Ruhe sucht, seid ihr hier genau richtig. Die Herzlichkeit des Hosts ist unbeschreiblich. Die highlights waren definitiv: - hausgemachtes Essen von der Mama - spontanes Lagerfeuer unter sternenklarem Himmel (so viele Sterne hab ich noch nie gesehen :D) - Produktion des selbstgemachten Rakis miterleben

The stay at Velis Agroturizem was nothing short of delightful. Veli and the other people were incredibly nice and helpful, taking care of us super well. The food and wine was amazing, as well as the room and house itself. We had a big, beautiful, clean and nicely prepared room, with a nice, small balcony and a large bathroom with towels and bathrobes included. We mentioned that we are vegetarian, so we received a delucious grilled vegetable&cheese plate along with the best cheese balls I've ever had. The included breakfast was really well done and plenty, and the coffe and bread were really good. I would definitly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

What can I say, I had a perfect time at Besian's place. Everything was beautiful: the apartment was more than enough for me (1 person, but for 2 is also more than good), the entire house where you stay is attended by his family, supportive and friendly. You can ask them anything and they will do their best to help you. I hope I get to go back back one day, 100%.

Fabion and the stay were fantastic, very friendly staff with some very good local cuisine on offer. The only minor issue I personally found was actually finding the place, as my sat-nav took me to Melan and not straight to the hotel/appartment. But the locals were very helpful and pointed me in the right direction and got there ok. But on the whole the place was fantastic, very friendly and helpful staff! Fabion was excellent at communicating with me with clear instructions and the actual place itself was very picturesque and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here and if I am back in Albania again I will definitely come and stay again!
