Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Paradies! Es ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos hier. Der Pool ist wunderschön und man bekommt sehr leckeres Frühstück, wenn man es vorher ankündigt. Vom Bett aus kann man die Wellen hören und draußen auf einer Liege entspannen. Ruzaik ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer zur Stelle war und uns Unternehmungen empfohlen hat. Da wir ein einjähriges Kind dabei hatten und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer zum Ausruhen und wir bekamen direkt Wasser, Kekse und Früchte gebraucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

Мы провели в этом доме целый месяц и остались в восторге! Просторный, уютный, с прекрасной чилл-зоной у реки, где можно расслабиться и насладиться природой. Особенно понравилась крыша – идеальное место для занятий йогой. Кухня полностью оборудована, так что готовить было удобно. Кровати в спальнях комфортные, спалось отлично. До пляжа всего 5-7 минут пешком, а до серф-спота в Велигаме – около 25 минут. В целом, это был замечательный опыт, и мы благодарны хозяевам за гостеприимство!

We had an amazing stay! The house is surrounded by lush greenery, palm trees, and wildlife, making it feel like a jungle retreat. Secret Beach is just a 3-minute walk away—a stunning, secluded cove with soft sand, swaying palms, and crystal-clear water. Our host was fantastic, always helpful and ensuring we had everything we needed. The spacious kitchen and well-maintained house made our stay extra comfortable. Located just minutes from Mirissa, yet peaceful and immersed in nature. Renting a scooter made exploring even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had the most incredible stay with Ishu and her wonderful family! From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family—welcomed with open arms by Mum, Dad, Granddad, Grandma, and their lovely daughters. Traveling with a 1-year-old, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our little one was so well cared for, and the kids played together like lifelong friends. The house itself was spacious with a big garden that made our stay even more special. It’s just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and having Mama’s Café around the corner was a fantastic bonus for great local food. Ishu also speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. On top of everything, they arranged airport transfer and helped us get around with ease—such a thoughtful touch that made our trip stress-free. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming stay with a true home-away-from-home feeling, look no further. We can’t wait to return! Bohoma sthuthi :)

It was such a Nice Place to live! 5 min to Mirissa Beach But still a quiet Place.

True local experience! Dinner was awesome, and the view from the top deck was a delight, plenty of birds,squirrels and monkeys to watch. Excellent value for money. Please note that the location on the map is incorrect - the property is further up and took me about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach. Own transport would be ideal in this location - I had difficulties with PickMe but kindly the host would source me a tuktuk from the village :)

We stayed at the second floor of the villa with an awesome view of the ocean and perfect location, a three minute walk to the beach. We communicated with the owner’s dad every day. He was super helpful and made us breakfasts. Our children played with his granddaughter every day. A very welcoming family, they live next to the property and always there to fix any issues. Three bedrooms with air con and nice veranda to sit and watch the ocean. Loved it.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Luca. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un excellent repos. Vous pourrez observer les quelques animaux qui se promènent librement dans le jardin. La piscine est un gros plus dans la chaleur du Sri Lanka. La maison est incroyablement propre et les gens qui y travaillent sont très gentils. Nimesh vous aidera avec toutes vos questions, vous pouvez le contacter à tout moment. Il nous a emmenés changer de l'argent, nous a montré où se trouvaient les meilleurs endroits pour dîner et a organisé toutes les excursions pour nous. Il s'est également occupé de notre voyage et est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport. Tout le long, nous avons pu profiter des merveilleux dîners préparés par Nirosha dont un excellent barbecue de fruits de mer. La maison est très bien placée : seulement à quelques pas de la plage et de tous les restaurants/boutiques. N’hésitez pas à réserver votre séjour au sein de cette maison, c’est un véritable petit paradis.

super leuk plekje om even voor jezelf te hebben. Even tijd voor jezelf terwijl je dicht bij het centrum van zowel Weligama als Mirissa zit. Beide zijn met een tuktuk of bus gemakkelijk te bereiken binnen 10 min. Sahan was super vriendelijk en ook zijn vader hielp ons goed naar al onze wensen. Het huis was schoon en sfeervol. De kamers waren ruim, het zwembad was super en werd iedere dag schoongemaakt.

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

Das Airbnb war ein Traum. Es ist wunderschön, sauber, super ausgestattet und hat eine traumhafte Lage, sowie einen traumhaften Pool. Wir waren restlos begeistert und unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Jeder der nach Sri Lanka kommt sollte hier übernachten. Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die ich jemals hatte. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Hier gibt es kein Verbesserungsbedarf.

Sunil 与他的Villa是我们本次斯里兰卡之行的最大惊喜。 - Villa位置极佳，连接海滩，在院子内即可欣赏蓝宝石般的海水，附近有多个美味餐厅，距离著名的海龟沙滩、椰树秋千均步行可达； - Villa设施齐全，三个卧室面积都很宽敞，配备了泳池、餐厅、厨房及各种配套设施； - Sunil的热情招待令我们惊叹，他提供了饮用水，为我们赠送了免费的、极具当地特色的早餐（本人亲自下厨！）。他还可以提供晚饭服务，他的厨艺水平超过了我们在斯里兰卡吃过的所有餐厅。此外，Sunil帮我们推荐协调了全部的包车、Safari行程，还热情地开车带我们在Galle城内游览。 - 此外，Villa的安全性也值得称赞，一名全职的工作人员24小时在Villa内，所有问题都能得到及时相应。并且完全不需要担心隐私问题，工作人员有独立的空间。 总之，在Sunil的Villa中的3天，是我们在斯里兰卡度过的最放松、最舒适、最惬意的时光。非常期待今后有机会再次访问！5星评价完全不足以表达我们对这里的喜爱，如果有可能，我们希望能给出10星！

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe ein paar Tage in dieser Unterkunft in Mirissa verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Besonders die Lage ist hervorragend – ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand und ideal, um zu entspannen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft selbst hat Charme und bietet eine solide Basis, besonders für Alleinreisende. Allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem das Badezimmer hätte eine Auffrischung nötig: Die Dusche war etwas heruntergekommen, der Duschkopf wirkte nicht mehr richtig sauber, und der Toilettendeckel war leider kaputt. Auch die Wände wirkten stellenweise beschmiert, und der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken sah ziemlich ranzig aus. Es wäre schön, wenn in Zukunft einige dieser Dinge erneuert oder saniert würden – das würde den Aufenthalt deutlich aufwerten. Trotz dieser kleineren Mängel habe ich mich wohlgefühlt und würde bei einer entsprechenden Renovierung gerne wiederkommen.

What can I say, it was the best holiday I can remember…! The place is a dream: beautiful house with large and comfortable spaces decorated with a great taste, with a lovely garden and pool, friendly and helpful staff. Less than 5 mins walk from the nearby beach, where we enjoyed during several days looking at baby turtles reaching the sea. Nice restaurants and cafes (and even a nice small train station) at walking distance. Very family/children friendly place and area! We look forward to visiting again!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Our stay at this little Airbnb paradise was absolutely delightful! Tucked away next to the serene river, yet conveniently walkable from the center and restaurants, it offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The cottage itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and tidy. And with the beach and surf shops just a few minutes away, making it easy for us to enjoy the sun, sand, and waves whenever we pleased. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations for local activities and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay in Weligama. Whether you're a beach lover, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a cozy hideaway, this little cottage is the ideal choice. We're already dreaming of our next visit!

We were a family group of seven, and the house was perfect for us. It was close to the beach and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful. Ashkar was great—very responsive, kind, and flexible. He provided us with everything we needed.

You will enjoy the stay at Nimal. Place is close to Unwatuna beach 20 min walking and almost 7 min by TukTuk. The place is spacious and you can find everything you need. The area is calm, relaxing and safe. Thank you and will definitely come again

Absolutely lovely last minute stay when we had issues with another accommodation. Selina was incredibly friendly and responsive and allowed us a very flexible check in. Everything was perfectly described and in a great location. Very clean and bed very comfortable! The road noise is loud but we are from a busy city and had earplugs and did not struggle. Thank you!

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

Great stay and great place. We ended up extending our stay. It was value for the price paid.
