Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

I have stayed at Gilwern several times, and as with each previous occasion I found Emma had made a huge effort to ensure the accommodation was very comfortable and well presented. I love the views, the peace and quiet, and always enjoy trying to find a fossil in the quarry. I will hope for another return trip in a year or two.

Just the perfect peaceful getaway. Stayed for a night but wished we could stay all week. Garden is secure and looks out on to the most amazing views, the hot tub was a real treat. Hut was immaculate and just what we needed a for a rest

Absolutely amazing place to stay, faultless standard of the amenities, location, tranquility and super friendly host. Really did surpass all expectations for a private and beautiful getaway, surrounded by beautiful Welsh scenery and animals. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay whenever possible! This stay was perfect for our long weekend with our 1 year old and 2 dogs. We were after a relaxing spot and this ticked all the boxes for us. Private, quiet and you can see the lambs from the hut, a perfect Easter break. Hosts are lovely, recommended for little breaks when you want to get away from busy life

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

Honestly, the experience far out did expectations, tbe AirBnB link doesn’t do this place justice. Incredible setting, incredible set up, best shower we have ever experienced, perfect Shepherds hut, location next door to heaven, just outstanding

Tiffany and her husband, made us feel right at home. They were so friendly, very warm and welcome and so helpful for any extra info we needed !! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the treehouse next time !!

Apart from the WiFi not working, everything was pristine. The breakfast served in the hotel was amazing. Both Louise and Henry were awesome hosts

What can we say about this place. A hidden gem that excels in every way from the hosts, to the location, the hut itself, the hot tub, the ponies and goats, the view, the tranquility, the onsight chapel … we could go on and on. There is nothing we didn’t like about this place and never been so sad to leave somewhere. Rebecca and Dave were amazing hosts. We had so much privacy and tranquillity. We walked to the Ty Coch inn and it was stunning in every way. We will definitely be returning at some point. Thank you so much 💕💕

The Shepard’s hut was such a delightful stay! Me and my partner had a long day doing snowdon so to come and relax with a fire and a cosy little home was lovely! David was super attentive and very friendly!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Lovely room in a great location—just a 5-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and bars. Great spot to explore other areas of wales easily. Parking is available nearby for just £4 per day. The bathroom is separate from the room and can only be accessed from outside, but for the price, i couldn’t complain. The bed is a bit on the springy side, but overall, a pleasant and affordable stay. Thank you Ruby!

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

We had a glorious stay in the Shepherds Hut! Totally off the beaten track and surrounded by calving cows and idyllic lambs - my small children were mesmerised! There is everything you could need for a short break, the tea / coffee and toiletries are a great touch. Definitely more space than you think. The bottom bed / Harry Potter cupboard den kept the kids entertained for ages and is brilliant with the cubby hole and charging points. It’s actually brilliant for small children who would usually need a cot side and need darkness to sleep! We would love to come back :)
