Great house, amazing location near Stratton, and Matthew was just great. He was super communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. We'd love to return again.

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

Amazing location. We loved snowshoeing on the property. The horses were majestic and we loved all the animals. Anja and David are very friendly and interesting to talk to. Note that if you are tall, there are a few low door thresholds. Easy access to Middlebury College

Leslie’s cabin is lovely! Such a great place to stay while skiing at Gore. Supremely cozy, well outfitted, and easy to find. Make sure to book a hot tub experience!

Dan’s place is wonderful for a quiet, romantic getaway. We loved the deck and the big green space to walk our dog. The apartment was spotless and smelled clean. Dan was very responsive and helpful. My wife and I are hoping to come back someday!

My GPS gave me a slight hassle, even though I was coming in from not far away…it was after dark. Ann was wonderful with responding quickly to help me find my way in! No trouble at all, just one glitch with the shower but again, it was handled quite prompt and effectively. Thanks Ann!

I highly recommend this property. Beautiful country setting yet convenient to the city. This is probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and had the best equipped kitchen for those wishing to cook. Thomas was very responsive and professional.

Absolutely loved staying here! It was such a great place and the property itself is great too! I brought my two dogs and they loved it too. There were a lot of hiking trails nearby as well. The place was clean, check in was easy. Jesse is really great at communicating and answering any questions we had. Overall a great place to stay! Would definitely come back!

Such a quaint beautiful home! We absolutely loved the decor, the layout, hot tub, there was little special touches everywhere. It was easy to find and close enough to everything. Highly recommend to other guests and would love to come back and stay longer next time!

We absolutely loved staying at the Cabin. It felt like home, everything you need is there. Surroundings are stunning, it’s a great place to chill after NYC. Marilyn was very helpful and gave us very detailed instructions on everything. If I am in the area again I will definitely book the place!

Already missing this lovely space! You just can’t beat the coziness of the wood stove or the gorgeous views. Through rain, snow, and sunshine, we admired the maintains and trees, never ceasing to be amazed. Josh & Misse were such delightful hosts; they were both so kind and so clearly dedicated to their passions, it was inspiring to stay in a place hosted by people with sustainability and community in mind. Thus was a perfect introduction to Vermont in all its beauty!

Our stay was lovely. The house is beautiful and spacious with books galore! I found an I-Pod with nice music for a great evening. The view was serene and relaxing. I loved my stay and would recommend the Book Barn 100%.

Absolutely breathtaking views from the huge windows. My kids loved watching the horses across the way and then coming up to our window at dusk. Clean, spacious and private. This is an airbnb that I would go back to.

Chickadee Hill was an incredibly comfortable retreat! Not only was the cabin absolutely immaculate, but it was evident how much Paula puts into making this a five star stay. If you are looking for a cozy getaway, a short drive away from Lake George but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town, then look no further! You will not be disappointed booking with Paula at Chickadee Hill.

The main intention behind our visit to Banjo's Cottage was to disconnect and it proved to be absolutely perfect for doing just that. Cozy decor, manageable layout, well-stocked kitchen, no TV, beautiful grounds, convenient location...Lesley and her family provided it all in spades. We read books, completed a puzzle, took in the stars and enjoyed the silence. 20 mins south of Middlebury, and just over an hour south of Burlington...this place offers prime seclusion, as well as easy access to areas of interest. Lesley is always responsive and eager to accommodate. Special shoutout for ensuring we were fully prepared to stay somewhere new with a 13-month old. Pack 'n Play, highchair, outlet covers, toys and books...all generously offered upon arrival. Reading through the log it becomes apparent that this place holds a magical quality to all those who visit. We definitely hope to be back some day.

We loved John & Anne’s place. It was cozy, warm and perfect for our getaway. We appreciated the responsiveness, ease of communication and clear, easy to follow instructions. The fireplace, hot tub and all the extra touches with the local treats made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

Carrie was a great host for her farm house. We were in town for a college visit. It was clean, private, cozy, charming all for a great price.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Simply beautiful, charming and cozy stay. The waterfall was amazing, it was frozen but I think that made it even more beautiful, its a short hike to the fall and in my 2-day stay I went about 5 times. Even cold plunged in the fall! The wood stove is so toasty and they have an abundance of wood to last all winter. The kitches has literally everything you can think of and you can tell a food lover lives here. There's even binders with tons of recipes that seems to be made throughout decades, super cool. Overall great stay and just what we needed. Highly recommend!

The Chalet was just perfect. Listing perfectly described what you were getting with this little piece of paradise! The Sauna was easily workable. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The whole house was immaculate and roomy yet cozy. Perfect distance to the MANY MANY WATERFALLS the boyfriend and I were chasing. Skiing at Whiteface will be happening in the future, and hopefully using Judi's gorgeous Chalet to ease my weary bones once again in the future. Will 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thanks Judi! =) Tammy & Matt

We've stayed at the coop several times while visiting our sons at college and, as always, Traci's hosting was absolutely spot-on. She thinks of everything! A map for walking the trails on the farm, all the kitchen implements you might need, a half-dozen farm fresh eggs--and now you can even shop for items from the farm (soap, honey, etc.) from the tiny store she set up in the living room! I'm always happy to return to the farm. Thank you, Traci, for providing a home away from home!
