This was a great place for my husband and I to stay with the kids. There was plenty of space for us in the apartment and lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. It was also an easy drive to get to Hersheypark and Gettysburg too! We would definitely stay here again!

Angel's place is fantastic, especially if you have a short term assignment at the Capitol etc. I had only just moved to the area and used it as a home base while I looked for a permanent place. It's very thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for an extended stay - laundry detergent, ziplock bags, paper towels, sponges. There is a good sized closet with some hangers, and a full length mirror. The bed is comfortable. As some others mentioned, it can be a bit loud from the traffic outside, maybe fine for some but something to consider if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper. If you need extremely reliable high speed internet for a work from home situation, the internet might not be stable enough. I found it was fine for most things but struggled with some video connection.

Extremely convenient to restaurants and walkable to the main area of town. Listing was accurate and honest (older building, which was absolutely fine, as it's explained in the listing that it's historic). Good value.

Sehr spontan haben wir uns entschlossen eine Nacht in Harrisburgh zu verbringen und fanden in Chris Appartment eine gute Unterkunft dafür. Zentral, fussläufig nah am Fluss und Capitol und verschiedenen Restaurants. Der Eingang der Wohnung lässt nicht vermuten das eine so schöne Wohnung dahinter liegt. Schade das man nicht Parken kann vor der Wohnung, aber es gibt bezahl Parkplätze um die Ecke der Wohnung, also auch machbar.

Communication from time of booking, just prior to arrival, during our stay right through to check out was excellent. Spotless apartment, comfortable and easy walk into restaurants. Would totally recommend staying .

Michele provided all the necessary details very promptly. she also checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. I would certainly stay at Ohana Resort when next in Hummelstown.

Our stay was great! The house was as pictured and was very comfortable for our week long stay. Loved the proximity to the river and the walk path!

This is our second time staying at the “dog house” with Kayla. As usual the place does not disappoint and Kayla really thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is immaculate and smells clean. We will definitely be back. My dogs give it a five paw rating.

Extremely beautiful historic farmhouse! Went on a family vacation and felt like we were in an oasis! Extremely clean home and clean and smelling wonderful linens and sheets. Felt like I was staying at my grandmothers house. Tina and Todd were only a text away but we also felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Gettysburg battlefields and downtown only a 10 minute drive. Really wonderful place and worth every penny. Cows were adorable and while they were vocal on our first night, we did not mind. Ear plugs were provided in case they got too rambunctious! Only regret is not asking to have the pool opened because it got up to 80 one day but next time we stay here we will be sure to bring bathing suits!

This was our third time staying at the lavender house. Obviously, we love it! Lisa is a wonderful host, quick to respond and obviously takes pride in ensuring her guests enjoy their stay. The house is beautiful! Decorated throughout with antiques, and the hardwood floors and exposed wood beams in the ceiling, it has a historical feeling, with all the modern necessities (dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc). And the town of Gettysburg is just a 10 minute drive and has something for everyone, from a plethora of shops and restaurants to breweries and museums. We have walked through the battlefields and even toured Eisenhower’s farm. This area is rich with history and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back! Lisa also owns The Pub right in the town square which has delicious food and an impressive bar menu!

The place is even more beautiful than I could have imagined! There was a crackling fire when we came in, there’s such a personal touch throughout the house and the surrounding nature is picturesque. One of the favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Our whole party raved about it.

it was even better than the pictures and the outdoor was updated compared to the pictures. Our families enjoyed this beautiful private home just to ourselves and it was very peaceful.

The house was wonderful. Peaceful location, large lot for the dogs to leash walk around, very quiet location. The ride to Gettysburg is short and overlooking the East Cavalry Battlefield is nice. House was very clean and neat. The kitchen was well supplied (even farm fresh eggs!). Steve responded quickly to any questions. Want to book again.

The house was perfect. It was clean and had a beautiful view from the porch and yard. Okay, everywhere we looked was beautiful. Diane gave perfect instructions on how to get in the house before we arrived and provided her phone number along with her husband's in case we needed something. They had plenty of information on the desk when we first walked into the house. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and if we're ever back in the area, we would love to stay there again.

Our family stayed here for a night during an educational visit. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful. The vibe of the space is more of a youth retreat set up, instead of an apartment type, but that was perfect for our kids and this visit to Gettysburg. We didn’t get to explore the grounds but the area was so peaceful and beautiful. One thing that stood out as exceptional was the tremendous number of blankets, pillows and towels available. There was WELL over the number needed to accommodate people staying. Normally, places have just barely enough, but Debbie’s place far exceeded our expectations in this area. Definitely worth staying here!

Excellent place in an excellent location! We come to York twice a year for an event and I’m hopeful we can stay here every time. That’s how great the experience was for us.

That's a really neat apartment, Actually me and my girl. We both brought up that we both could easily live in this apartment. It just had a really good vibe. If a bathroom it could be a RockStar, then this bathroom is Mick Jagger!!!! . Glass door walk and shower two shower heads.. With plenty of room for both so . The only problems I had it was, I couldn't get the Tv too. Do you make any type of connection with any link. And the air conditioner in the second bedroom with the electric bed was put into lock mode. .. , when I first arrived to the apartment, it was warm enough to break a sweat. There was also a ceiling fan that were just fine. I wasn't a big fan of that room. Anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. And the rest of the air conditioners and the apartment worked perfectly.

Muchas comodidades que nos encantaron. Lavanderia incluida con secadora, nos brindo muchos productos de baño y fue un gran detalle el dejar cafe por el tiempo de la estancia.

Clean and comfy and convenient. Located in beautiful surroundings. Host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.
