Achill Island : locations de vacances

We just enjoyed a fantastic week in County Mayo, and Ger’s home was the perfect home base for us! The house is as pictured and described - comfortable, clean, and well appointed. There are 4 bedrooms: 2 doubles downstairs, each with their own en suite bathroom A king bed room upstairs A room with 2 single beds upstairs A bathroom that is shared upstairs. The towels and bed linens were fresh and the home well cleaned before we arrived. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils and dish-wear. We shopped at the Super Valu in Westport and cooked several meals at home. We enjoyed The Tavern twice, but unfortunately Campbells was on reduced hours during our stay. We enjoyed the property’s outdoor space, which has a new picnic table and incredible views of Crough Patrick. The car park for Crough Patrick is a minute drive (or a few minute’s walk) down the road. We hiked to the top and it was certainly worth it! Ger was an exceptionally communicative host who made our stay perfect!

I had a great stay at Saoirse’s beautiful apartment. The location was second to none, it was fantastic to be so close to the sea - literally across the road. The apartment was spotless and felt like a home away from home. Saoirse was a wonderful host, with clear and easy to follow guidelines for check in etc. and a lot of local recommendations. I’d have no problem in recommending Saoirse’s apartment to anyone.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, presentable and very comfortable, it came with all the necessities. Catherine was a lovely host and she welcomed us with her home made scones which were delicious. Catherine is very friendly and helpful. We loved her hospitality. The house is private and comes with a beautiful surroundings with beautiful animals all around. We will definitely revisit. Lovely private and quiet stay in Connemara. Terry is a lovely host. Generous and responsive. If you have your own transport this is a perfect place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and having your own little apartment.

We had a brilliant stay at Áine’s property! It is conveniently located less than a five minute drive from Westport town and very easy to find. We had a smooth check in facilitated by Margaret the caretaker who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the property. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for a group due to the extra beds in the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for self catering. Overall, Áine was a great host and we had a fabulous stay at her property.

Mary was a great host really helpful and friendly. house was lovely, warm and comfortable. We had everything you could need for the stay and the view from the garden was beautiful. Belmullet was great really nice friendly people and would recommend both the house and area for a good break.

Very pleasant stay, Monika was great and very flexible on check in times which helped as we had an early flight in. Would stay again 🙂

The Boley House is perfect for families who are visiting Achill Island. The house is spacious and located within walking distances to shops, restaurants, and pubs. Noreen is the perfect host who supplied fresh eggs, rashers, sausages and puddings for my family to make a traditional Irish breakfast. This also included homemade brown bread. On several occasions Noreen dropped off freshly made cookies and breads. Just a perfect host!!

Great house. Very comfortable. Everything provided for an enjoyable home from home stay. Terrific location and great base for exploring beautiful Sligo. Good communication and ease of checking in and out.
