Achill Island : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Mary and Seamus were absolutely wonderful hosts, with a beautiful home and made me feel very welcome and relaxed. My room was gorgeous. Clean, warm and cosy and lovely views. I wish I could haves stayed longer, I felt like I known them both for a good while, but that’s the true spirit of the Irish hospitality. Wonderfully people and would love to revisit and to explore more of the area.

Perfect for a solo traveller who wants something better than a hostel. Ruth quickly shows you around the house and then you can go to your private room if you want to - or stay and chat with Ruth, and she'll give you tips of the surrounding area - such a lovely irish lady. Highly recommended!

Really wonderful letting, so friendly and including. The surroundings were ideal for a couple of our age. Facilities were first class and we felt really at home.

Mary was wonderful and her place was phenomenal! If visiting Achill and you stay anywhere but at Mary's, it will be your loss. We wanted for nothing and the room had an AMAZING view of the bay! Fridge stocked with staters for your day along with fruit, cereals etc..! It's a definite revisit for us and our only regret is not staying longer. Mary's place +Achill = heaven on earth!

Wonderfully presented, great location close to town and Diarmuid was a lovely responsive host.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Catherine est adorable, et nous a bien renseigné sur les endroits à découvrir. La cerise sur le gâteau : nous avons pu observer des phoques à 2 min de la maison!! Petit déjeuner extra, avec salade de fruits frais, scones et pains maison, et Catherine aux petits soins pour rendre le séjour exceptionnel.

Our one-night stay at Agnes' studio was a great experience. From the very first message, she was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Communication was smooth throughout, and she made everything feel easy and welcoming. The studio itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed – from comfy beds and hotel-quality linen to a smart TV, strong Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to relax. Agnes had also left out homemade scones and a delicious continental breakfast, which was a lovely touch. As a thoughtful extra, she had even left us a piece of homemade chocolate cake. Check-in was seamless, and even though we arrived late, Agnes made sure we felt right at home. The location was peaceful and well-situated for exploring the area. She was also kind enough to send back a pair of AirPods we accidentally left behind, which we really appreciated. We’d warmly recommend this stay to anyone visiting or exploring the area—whether for a short stop or a longer stay. Thank you again, Agnes!

Amazing stay at Connor and Fiona ´s house. Connor was very welcoming and helpful with all our questions. The room is clean, tidy and perfect for us. We definitely recommend it and we ll be happy to stay here again. Take care !

We had an amazing time, the rooms were big, pristine, and Geraldine is an amazing host. The breakfast was literally the cherry on top!

Logement agréable, bien situé pour rayonner dans le Connemara. Lit de grande qualité, chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner servi dans la chambre et la discrétion des hôtes 🙂

Wir können die Unterkunft von Imelda nur empfehlen. Die Aussicht ist top. Hinzu kommt, das Imelda uns sehr herzöich empfangen hatte. Da die Saison fertig ist ubd wir die letzten Gäste waren, durften wir ein anderes Zimmer beziehen mit der tollen Aussicht aufs Meer. Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt.

Linda is an excellent hostess. She and her two very well-behaved dogs welcomed us with great warmth. Linda is a very friendly person, really nice to talk to. Beautiful accommodation, very clean, with refined personal care products and excellent breakfast.

We stayed for three nights at Maura’s beautiful home whilst visiting family. The location was convenient to Ballina. The accommodation was very homely and we enjoyed the views of the Lough. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to go! Maura is the perfect host and we hope to be back again soon.

Eileen and Desmond’s place is centrally located to the town and easily walkable. We were there for St Patrick’s Day and a really great experience! Desmond welcomed us with warmth and showed us around the place. He offered any assistance we might need. The breakfasts are fantastic and quite filling. Barbara, their helper, was fun and full of good information. We checked out earlier and Desmond had our breakfast ready for us before we departed. He took time to show us more of the family photos and made our stay over the top. 10 stars Desmond!

Ons verblijf bij Noreen was maar een nachtje en mijn vader en ik vonden het bijna jammer om door te gaan met onze reis. Ze heeft een heerlijke ruimte beschikbaar voor gasten, zowel slaapkamer als een soort woonkamer, waar ze zelfs ontbijt serveerde. Na een geweldige wandeling van de letterkeen trailhead was dit heerlijk ontspannen en verwelkomend met de liefste gastvrouw.
