We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Everything was wonderful, beautiful home and spacious. I met Allen when I pulled up and he told me about the home how it was 100 years old and how I used to be several places. and Adam help me with the lock and everything went smooth. Even when the siren went off at 4:50am on Sunday and starting me out the bed there was still a peace and calm lol. The area is beautiful and I would recommend.

We’ve stayed at several of the units in this same complex, Kelly’s was by far the nicest. Can’t beat the view of sunsets on the patio!

Evolves place was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

We stopped here to break up a very long drive so we only stayed one night but Jacqueline was very friendly and accommodating. We were pretty delayed on our drive but she made sure we got into our room ok and introduced us to her dogs. We didn’t get a chance to explore but the property looked beautiful and peaceful. Definitely a great place if you love dogs. Our little daughter LOVED them, but my wife tends to be a bit more apprehensive. Overall, very nice rooms and quite spacious. A good place for a longer stay.

Great little spot, perfect location!

Our stay at The Artist Apartment was perfect! Robert and Judy were friendly and welcoming and the apartment was spacious and immaculate. The kitchen was very well equipped and the toiletries, linens and bedding were plentiful and high quality. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Wachapreague!

We had a great long weekend here! The house was spotless, everything was easy and as-described, we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved the cozy couch and giant TV, and enjoyed afternoon time on the front porch too! The house is easy walking distance from stores/restaurants and most importantly ice cream!! A great spot for accessing everything Chincoteague offers. Jess was super friendly and communicative and though we didn’t need anything it felt like she was just a message away! Would definitely recommend this spot!

The accommodations were fabulous. Fire pit for s’mores! Kids loved the whole farm vibe. Location convenient to Onancock. Farm fresh eggs! We hope to have an opportunity to stay there again.

My 4 year old had been asking to go to the beach for MONTHS, & Chincoteague has always been a favorite place for my husband & I. So for her birthday (8/17 the week before our stay) we decided on a beach trip, & this was the 1st time we were able to share this island that we love, with her. When looking for a space, I needed to accommodate our whole household, & we wanted everyone to feel comfortable & not like they just had a place to sleep - but a place to relax & enjoy. Lenard’s house caught my eye back in May, & thankfully it was available. Lenard even accommodated our travel dates which were outside of typical nightly requirements, & that by itself meant a lot. This house did not disappoint. It was exactly as pictured, maybe even better than I envisioned. The layout was perfect. We could be together without feeling like we were on top of each other. The screened porch was my favorite. The kitchen was amazing. We felt at ease & comfortable. We hope to stay next summer, but longer!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Chatham Farmhouse! Not only was the historic Farmhouse a welcome change from typical lodging, the hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly throughout the duration or our stay. The serene setting, coupled with close proximity to the winery, made for one of the best ways to experience the Eastern Shore. We are very much looking forward to returning during the summer months, and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

very cozy and good location to coffee and restaurants

We've been vacationing at Chincoteague for 32 years so feeling at home in our surroundings is really important. That is Exactiily how we felt this year in our beautiful "home" away from home! There was NOTHING we would change and really hope to return to the same rental next year. Thank you for helping to make it a truly wonderful stay!!

A quaint and peaceful spot, with great recommendations for restaurants! Up bay pony boat tours was a check off my bucket list. Enjoyed our stay on Chincoteague Island and the wild ponies ❤️

A beautiful and spacious condo for our family to ring in the new year. Plenty of space for the three of us and our pups. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect since we were visiting in the off season and spent most meals in the condo. We would definitely visit again.

This was our first visit to Chincoteague, and it did not disappoint! The condo looked just like the listing and had beautiful views. It was also conveniently located near shops and restaurants, all well within walking distance. There was a hiccup with the door code when we arrived, but seaside has an after hours phone service that took care of everything. The person I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay again next time we’re in Chincoteague and would recommend to friends.

Our first time to Chincoteague Island and it was very beautiful and peaceful! In the off season, it's a great place to go for a relaxing getaway. We rented a Moke and drove around the island including Assateague Island which was lots of fun. The unit had beautiful views of the sunset and was in walking distance to some restaurants and a short drive to other restaurants and shops. The unit was very clean and exactly what the pictures showed.

Fantastic hosts who responded very quickly to the one minor issue we had with the wifi. It was not their fault at all, but they had the service provider out and with the issue being completely resolved within a couple of hours. Comfortable condo with plenty of space for a family. Hosts were very friendly and had great communication, with reminders before and during our stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for comfortable space, great hosts, and a relaxing stay.

We watched beautiful sunrises over the water from our condo each morning-lovely water view! The condo was well furnished, clean, with a great kitchen, comfortable bed. We plan to return!

The host was very responsive. Great location and the views were outstanding. Master bed was very comfy! They had games to play and a dvd collection when the cable/internet went out throughout the island. The only thing we would have liked is a larger comfy sofa. Other than that it was perfect!
