The Forest and Ocean Nests were idyllic and cozy little dwellings to spend a weekend away from the noise of the big city. Some things we liked: -Mara’s very comprehensive guide to staying at their units. They even had resto recommendations! -They warned us about the monkeys! The car mirror covers were a thoughtful touch. -Unit was exceptionally clean. -The champorado was yummmm! And we appreciated the other breakfast food as well. -Units were well-equipped with cooking and eating utensils. -Our pup was welcome to stay with us! Some not so much: -Having only one sink was a bit tough. You’d have to alternate washing dishes and brushing your teeth. -We weren’t comfortable eating out of a half-full jar of peanut butter. It was a generous idea, albeit a bit unsanitary. -The location was a 20-min drive away from Subic proper. Not ideal if you don’t have your own vehicle. Overall, I would still recommend the Nests in a heartbeat! Mara and her team are top-notch.

This Airbnb was exactly as described—no surprises, just a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and well-maintained, with complete appliances that made everything super convenient. Water pressure was excellent, and the air conditioning was ice cold in all the rooms, which was perfect for the weather. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. It truly felt like a home away from home and was worth every penny. There are also plenty of things to do in the area, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. Honestly, the only downside was that one day just wasn’t enough to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Highly recommend!

The owners, Thomas and Rita, warmly welcomed us to their beautiful home and property. April, on of their co-host, was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We loved their place, which is very clean, peaceful and has a huge grounds for a lot of things to do e.g. short trek, exercise, swim, etc. My daughter spent whole afternoon just seating in the veranda, reading and listening to the sound of different animals esp the birds. We were able to do guava and cashew picking as well with Rita’a permission :) She even gave us some bananas from their harvest (which was very sweet and tasty!). We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back again!

Like any other houses we booked here at La Serrano, we’re happy with the sleeping capacity and the beds are really comfy. There are rooms for improvement, like the fridge in the kitchen. We booked two houses today and the other house has fully functional fride. This was our 3rd booking at La Serrano, but first time using this unit.

Such a lovely accommodation. It was clean, cozy, with lots of space. There are a number of restaurants and cafes nearby. The location was fantastic, too. Don't miss out on that great Korean restaurant on the adjacent street just across this place. Harbor Point mall is within walking distance (it's really closer than what it looks like on Google Maps). Overall, Dana's place offered such a nice combination of a comfortable and spotless living space with good accessibility to dining and retail options. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Subic!

the place was well thought out and designed beautifully. We had an issue with the AC on our first day and our host transferred us to their larger casita as soon as we told them. The beach is a few minutes away from the Casita, but you have an option to be shuttled to and fro by the caretakers. We all had a great time! thank you!

Place was near the hi-way. Julie is very responsive and accomodating.

The caretaker was lovely, she gave us instructions and showed us around the house, even helped us set up the barbecue. We had an issue with a blocked toilet, that she fixed right away. She was one sms away if we needed something. The place is grand! The only downside is that it is a bit of a walk to the beach (but there is a golf cart that we can use). This also means that when at the beach, you don't have access to amenities. Overall a lovely home 😊
