Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Lower ground floor is a spacious kitchen diner with french doors out to the enclosed courtyard. Relax after a day in the mountains in this, cosy, dog friendly cottage on the edge of the village of Rachub. A five min walk from the door to the mountains. The cottage has lovely original features, such as the charming staircase, exposed stone inglenook fireplace with log burning stove & wooden floorboards. Quality cooker, fridge and kitchen items. Sleeping 2 in a super king Feather & Black bed with Emma mattress, a z-bed is available if requested for a young child.

Very comfortable and superb central location (near Cae Du Spar). Just 5 mins walk to beach & village. No need to drive anywhere once you arrive. Sleeps up to - in 1x King Bed, 1x single and 1x full size adult bunk bed. Great wifi, gas BBQ. Baby safety gate. Lovely comfy little place. Dogs possible by prior agreement at £10/night/dog.
