The stay was wonderful, but such a shame there isn't an effective public transport option for getting to the village. So it was useful having been forewarned that there was no designated parking space with the accommodation so to allow time to find a nearby space or go to the free car park at the top part of the village.

Wonderful location, so peaceful and such a beautiful, spacious, clean and cozy cottage. Felt really lucky to find this wonderful little gem. Had such a relaxing long weekend and would return again if we were staying in the area. The place was absolutely spotless and felt like we had been the first to ever stay. Gorgeous interior. The owners have really considered every little detail and made our stay one to remember.

We have rarely felt such a sense of luxury and space in an AirBnB stay. It is an interesting mix; modern fixtures and appliances in an old building. The waterfront location made for great walking opportunities right out the front door. Sarah provided a lot of information about the unit and responded quickly to questions. The heating controls may be too sophisticated for their own good, or maybe I am too simple for my own good. I am happy with a thermostat that merely turns up or down. Happily, Sarah can mange the system remotely and you might do well to let her do so. We had a great stay and appreciate the effort Sarah has put into creating such a welcoming and comfortable setting.

Lovely place to stay next to a very interesting rural pub with friendly clientele and food! I thought the hosts were very responsive, generous and thoughtful and would recommend it to anyone.

Maerina's place was ideal right in the middle of Aber town and close to the sea. Maerina works in the shop beneath the flat and was available for local recommendations and to respond to any issues had there been any, she was a great host, she had left bread and milk for us. We've just had our second visit to The Cosy Annexe and it is simply a home away from home. Except this home is at the foot of Snowdon!! 😍 The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The accommodation is perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. We drive to the places we need to be e.g. family fun parks (Greenwood) and restaurants if needed (mostly Llanberis based). But don't feel the need to go far with such lovely accommodation, local walks and pubs. It offers immaculate cleanliness and fully equipped for families. Lots of comfy furnishings like pillows and blankets. Excellently equipped for children of all ages (we have a 3yo and a 4yo). We can recommend to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. We will return 🫶

Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

had a wonderful stay! The house was cozy and well-maintained. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with utensils, tea, and milk, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a great experience.🙂would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic place! Ged and Elka are incredibly thoughtful and kind hosts. We felt at home immediately. Everything is very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking whatever you might like. They even keep the knives sharp! Beautiful walks from the front door. The beds are comfortable and it’s very dog friendly. They provided a blanket, dog towel, and bowls. They even had a welcome pack for us and our dog. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would!

A really lovely Airbnb. Beautifully refurbished, very well furnished, very clean, well appointed and with everything you could want for a very pleasant and relaxing break. The whole family were very happy and pleased with everything. Communication with Stuart was excellent and he was very quick and responsive to any queries. The area is really lovely and there was plenty to do to entertain the whole family. Shops, take aways and pubs very close by. We all had a really enjoyable time. Thank you so much for hosting us.

What an amazing time we had at Chapel Cottage. The directions and instructions provided by Katrina brought us right to the location and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was pristine with clean towels provided. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cutlery and utensils you could need. We loved it as soon as we walked in as we loved the charm and the rustic nature of how its been restored. The closest town Llanfyllin has a Spar but also a lovely Fish and Chip shop and Chinese which we used on our stay which we recommend also. After a long day hiking the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall it was amazing to relax in the hot tub with a few glasses of wine. The sky was clear and with it being a dark sky area, the amount of stars we could see was unbelievable. The beds are also the comfiest weve ever slept on so each night we were so rested. We are already planning a visit for next year. Thank you.

We enjoyed 3 lovely relaxing days in Sonia & Bens cottage. It was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful attention to detail, everything we needed was there. Sonia was very responsive when and allowed us a slightly later check out on our request. The hot tub and wood burner was perfect for relaxing, the area is beautiful. Thankyou Sonia for sharing your beautiful space with us and giving us the opportunity to be together as a family. Highly recommend to all ☺️

We stayed at the Paradise Cottage for two nights and were super happy with the information provided in advance and the communication before and during our stay there. The whole place was spotless clean and everything was as shown in the pictures and matched the description to our complete satisfaction. The beds (mattresses) were in perfect condition. In addition to that we had a rather late check-in and found a warm-hearted welcome and got help from the very nice owner. We would definitely recommend staying in this little paradise square:)

Geoffrey was a great host and very helpful and flexible. The apartment is spotlessly clean, in a great location and central to everything. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Barmouth. We had a great time.

David's apartment on the border between Acrefair and Trevor was a real treasure. It was a perfect location for us while visiting family, and is very close to natural attractions including the aqueduct, Dinis Bran, panorama walk, and Llangollen town. The apartment is even better than the very accurate photographs in the listing. We only stayed one night but it was spacious enough for us happily to have stayed a week. Very nicely furnished, and with everything you need: a super kitchen set-up, comfortable night's sleep, books, games, good wifi etc. Being next to the brook made for a calming atmosphere. And set back from the road, with very generous parking, meant it was quiet and peaceful. We walked down to the canal and enjoyed the sunshine and the boating activity. David was very helpful and friendly in communications. He popped out for chat before we left which was really nice. He could not have made us feel more welcome (and his paintings are lovely). Super stay!

This is the second time we have stayed with Chris and Julie and we already have plans for next year. Chris and Julie make you feel so at home, they go out of their way to make sure that your stay is wonderful….they are just beautiful human beings who share their wonderful space with you. Nothing is too much trouble and you just feel like part of the family. Thank you for another wonderful stay (and your offer of a rescue, beers and a hand with luggage) and we will see you next year

We had a wonderful time in this accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for a getaway, we loved the shower and the bed, super comfortable!!! Rosemarys place was well equipped, with all the basics it was lovely to have coffee and milk (we thought the dog treats was an amazing thoughtful touch!). Rosemary was very proactive and gave us loads of parking recommendations. We really loved our stay and would come again!

The apartment was clean, warm, easy to find and Homly. It was nice and spacious for the dog and had all the amenities required to cook. The location was very peaceful and walking distances from the shops and resturants/takeaways.

Amazing stay and brilliant recommendations about local things to do and places to eat. We visited "The Last Inn" which was recommended and was brilliant food. Would definitely recommend!
