Village très agréable en hiver avec 2 petits magasins alimentaire ouverts bien achalandés. Restaurant ouvert qu'en fin d'après midi et le soir. Habitants bien veillant.

Crovie ist ein magischer Ort und Elaines Haus passt perfekt in dieses Dörfchen. Das Haus ist sehr sehr gemütlich und man hat alles, was man Braucht. Es gibt viele Bücher. (Wir haben einen, vielleicht etwas kitschigen, Roman, der in Crovie spielt und den wir in Elis Tearoom in Gardenstown gekauft haben, dagelassen.) Die Küche ist perfekt usgestattet. Elaine antwortet sofort, wenn es Probleme gibt. Danke!

great location,comfy warm accomodation with everything you would require , suited a disabled relative with downstairs bedroom and bathroom ,easy access into the house . property well located for walks along the shore and for the fit and healthy plenty good walks to neighbouring village ,well situated for exploring other towns . found the hotel a bit pricey ,but cafe would highly recommend,well stocked shop in the village and lobster shop I did have the lobster and crab roll, very tasty . overall we would go back ,we were lucky enough to have good weather and we did love the location.

Beautiful location, had a very relaxing stay here. Host was very welcoming.

This is our second visit to this haven of peace. Cute cottage, roaring fire, beautiful neighbours and the sound of waves whilst you sleep. A slice of heaven is Puffin cottage.

Beautiful, private and cosy cottage in a stunning location. Peaceful, and scenic! The wood burner was a bonus and was used every night. Clean, well maintained and well presented.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni stupendi nell'alloggio di Chiara. Eravamo già passati da Pennan in estate e volevamo provare l'esperienza di essere come Local per qualche giorno in inverno. Così è stato, il cottage é molto accogliente, dentro un antica casa di pescatori nel porticciolo di Pennan, una posizione unica da cui godere della baia e del cielo stellato. Assolutamente un esperienza bellissima.

A lovely cosy cottage with everything that was needed to make us feel right at home. The dogs were made to feel very welcome too. Excellent location right on the sea front. Sue was most friendly and helpful even letting us sit out front on their bench looking out to sea! We would most definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay by the sea, everything was of a high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable and great views from the rooms. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. We would certainly recommend for a visit to Stonehaven, you would not be disappointed.

Das süße Cottage direkt am Meer war einfach zauberhaft. Wir fühlen uns sofort wohl und wie Zuhause . Es war alles super sauber, es gab alles an Basics was man braucht (Toilettenpapier, Seife, Backpapier, Kochutensilien etc). Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Super cozy cottage by the sea in traditional fishing village. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Nice restaurant nearby. Diane was very helpful and considerate. I would come back again!

We were looking for a chilled break which also met our dog’s needs. The cottage is in a spectacular location, facing the sea with the coastal path right at the bottom of the garden. You do need a car to access this property which sits at the end of a single track lane, adjacent to the A92. The cottage was spotlessly clean, homely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the enclosed garden area. The coastal path walk to Johnshaven is very pretty and only takes around 30-40 minutes where there is a pub/restaurant serving great food, excellent cafe..”Hidden treasures” and a lovely gift shop, the Starfish Studio, as well as the harbour. Claire gave us some very useful advice about other dog friendly eating venues around the area including Charlton Farm and Picsnax at St Cyrus nature reserve/beach. St Cyrus beach is stunning and is a must visit. We plan to return soon ..so much to see!

Lovely place, looks even better than the photos. Alan was very helpful and friendly. We had the best time and hope to be back!

we had a wonderful time staying in this beach hut! we had everything we needed and Gertrud was very communicative and friendly. We were very lucky with the weather and had sunshine and warmth despite coming in April. the hut does provide great wind shelter and the little kettle and gas cooker means a hot water bottle can be prepared of necessary, so I think we would have been fine regardless. everything as described - would recommend this stay!

Lovely attention to detail, felt so homely! The apartment was spotless. Lovely view of the port, plenty of space to park. Great location, not far from some amazing coast lines.
